Member of the Chinese national team, Olympic champion in singles and team, 2013 world champion in singles and three-time world champion in doubles (paired with Guo Yue), winner of the 2008 World Cup. Since March 2006, Li Xiaoxia has been ranked among the top ten players in the world, she has twice reached the top line of the world rankings. Li Xiaoxia plays right-handed in an attacking style, using a European grip.

Li Xiaoxia plays for Shandong Luneng Lu’an Group in Shandong Province, China. Her coach is Li Song, who previously coached multiple world champion and four-time Olympic champion Zhang Yining.
